Arsenal beat Manchester City 2-1 to close the gap on surprise Premier League leaders Leicester City.

Theo Walcott curled in a superb effort before OIiver Giroud doubled the Gunners' lead on the stroke of half-time.

A goal from Yaya Toure sparked a late rally from City but the Gunners managed to hold on.

The victory leaves Arsenal two points behind leaders Leicester, while City remain six points adrift as their poor away form continues to hamper their title bid.
